Mica is a multidisciplinary studio founded by Marta in 2020 that specializes in creating exceptional architectural projects and 3D visualizations. Our team works hard to offer a service that brings value to the client’s projects in a variety of areas, including equipment, housing, and competitions.

Marta Carvalho | Founder, Architect, Art Director
Marta was born in Porto, Portugal in 1985. She earned her master's degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto's University (FAUP) in 2010. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various international offices, including Mecanoo Architecten and MVCC Architects. Marta is known for her enthusiasm, focus, and ability to meet deadlines with ruthless efficiency.
Outside of her work at Mica, Marta has a passion for baking, team sports, and photography. She enjoys exploring these interests to relax and recharge, which allows her to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to her work.
